TRAPSHOOTING HALL OF FAME

Thought we'd let you know that we're ready to take that Silent Auction item off your hands...

This August, during the Grand American World Championships, The Trapshooting Hall of Fame will host the annual Silent Auction to raise funds for our programs and help retire the debt on the museum. Donated auction items are on display in the Museum for nearly a week (Sunday, August 4th, through Thursday, August 8th) for review by the thousands of guests who visit during the largest shooting event in the world.

Can you help support the Hall of Fame with a donated item? Doesn’t matter if it’s trapshooting related, outdoor related, man cave related or anything else related – we’ll take it. The Trapshooting Hall of Fame is recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and your gift is tax deductible. Donors will receive a charitable contribution acknowledgment letter and recognition on the Hall of Fame Website.

Your item may be shipped to the Museum, hand delivered, or picked up by Museum staff (from local addresses). Please use the Silent Auction Commitment Form to notify us of your donation and delivery preference no later than July 15th.

Since 1968, the Trapshooting Hall of Fame and Museum has been dedicated to preserving the rich history of our sport. This free museum is a showcase for shooter’s records, artifacts and memorabilia of the greatest competitors in this great and “Grand American” sport. Opened in 2016, the museum building was constructed at the World Shooting and Recreational Complex in Sparta Illinois entirely with private funding and construction loans. Although many generous donations have helped pay down the debt, more funds are needed.

This year we are welcoming four more outstanding persons into the Hall of Fame: Charles W. Long, Louie F. Morgan, Daniele Perazzi, and Stuart Welton. We cordially invite you to attend our induction banquet on Tuesday, August 6th. Please return the enclosed order form by July 12th to obtain tickets.
