The "Wizard of Spirit Lake," as Iowan Fred Gilbert was known, was one of the first inductees into the Hall of Fame (1969). Thomas Marshall Gilbert Jr., the grandson of Fred Gilbert, has made available to the Hall of Fame a large amount of Gilbert memorabilia.
